as the residence of John C. Plumer of
West Newton.  
The original frame (left side) was built
in 1814.  The Brick addition (right side)
was built in 1846.

Street and Water Street and sits
above the banks of the Youghiogheny
River with a terrific view of the water
and river trail.

1814 and 1846.

The original frame clapboard (left side), was built in 1814 and the
brick, (right side), was built in 1846.

The Plumer House features all original wide, wood plank flooring
in every room, some exposed brick walls, original built in cabinets
and bookcases, 7 fireplaces, many original wooden mantles,
original doors, original trim molding and brass chandeliers.

The First Floor is 4 large rooms and a center hall.

The center hall divides the house into 2 rooms on each side.  
The Left Side is the Original House and the Right Side is the
Addition.
